“The Trail of Cthulu,” a really beat up 1971 softcover edition of one of August Derleth’s continued stories within the world set up by Lovecraft.
“Between Two Worlds” by Nandor Fodor. 1964 hardcover first edition (and yes I have the softcover of this as well for it has an equally cool but different cover!)
Also: If you can find me a supernatural investigator with a name COOLER then NANDOR FODOR I…well…I just won’t believe you!
“Sudden & Awful: American Epitaphs & the Finger of God.”
1968 first edition hardcover. This is a book of strange and funny tombstone inscriptions from graveyards all across America. It is awesome and a fave of my collection.
“Writer’s for the 70’s: Thomas Pynchon,”
1974 softcover.
Brilliant cover…Other covers in this series show the author’s face, but as Pynchon is known for his privateness (and since there are not many photos of him at all) they decided to show the back of someone’s head instead.
Very clever design!
From my personal collection.
Frankenstein. 1957 paperback edition featuring Karloff’s monster on the front.
From my personal collection.
Greedo 23 figures
(1978) Kenner
Merchandising Is Forever
Hypnotic. And awesome.
The collected books of Charles Fort, 1959 seventh edition hard cover.
Contains “The Book of the Damned,” “Lo,” “Wild Talents,” and “New Lands.”
From my personal collection of strange books.
(If you don’t know Charles Fort, do look him up! He is AWESOME.”

SURREALIST SEMI-SCIENTIFIC ILUSTRATION

Tab. 2 & 18 [COLLAGE]
1972.Picture: Moravian Gallery, Brno
The surrealist collage art of Jan Svankmajer is a beautiful thing and if I had my way I’d have at least one room in my apartment wall papered in it.
YES.
Photos of the little ‘Beetlejuice as other creatures’ that came with all the action figures.
Last night right after ‘Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me’ ended at USC, Ray Wise (who was watching from the center of the front row) stood up, turned to the audience, and said loudly:
“Well, I’m exhausted!”
It was an amazing moment. As were prior moments such as Kyle Machlachlan being there and discussing Cooper, and being able to see in person so many of the original props and artifacts from the show!
WOW. Good times!

Be it known this is the greatest thing I have ever seen.
I am excited to announce that my new short film ‘Last Remnants’ is an official selection of the 2013 Pittsburgh Independent Film Festival!

Good stuff! Full of gross realistic textures!
